"Flowers may beckon towards us, but they speak toward heaven and God."
- Henry Ward Beecher
Caroline Linscott has an incredible gift in her ability to paint the joy she sees in life. She finds her talent to be a great challenge and exciting at the same time as she discovers the beauty God created in nature. Caroline is a true example of giving of her time and talents as she shares her home and studio with the world around her.
In 1994, she purchased and renovated the Lobo house on Los Rios Street in San Juan Capistrano. This home is open to the public as her studio, Artistas Gallery and residence. Caroline teaches adults and children and is a favored demonstrator for Art Leagues throughout California.
A signature member of
Women Artists of the West and Associate member of Watercolor West,
she is an award winning artist for her work of flowers and children. While
Caroline uses watercolor as her main media to capture her subjects, she
has utilized oils in some of her more recent works.

Caroline accepts commissions of children and families in watercolor. People take the time to stop and smell the roses as they discover one of Caroline's exquisite florals. One remembers the simplicity and joy of yesteryear in her 1900's restored home and gallery located in the Los Rios Historical District in San Juan Capistrano.
